Elderly Sponsorship Program

Despite the impressive economic growth recorded in Ethiopia over the previous decades, most elderly people live in extreme poverty. A study conducted by HelpAge International in 2018 reveals that only 7% of the country’s population aged 60 years and above are covered by aid programs such as Urban Productive Safety Net Program (UPSNP). The high poverty prevalence shows that these individuals are vulnerable to economic insecurity and shortages of basic needs, including healthcare, shelter, and food.

At Grace Elderly Care International, we established an Elderly Sponsorship program to improve the well-being of elderly people. We focus on helping the elderly who struggle to get care and support. Our focus is to provide necessary resources to address their unmet health, clothing, mobility, housing, and food needs.

It is difficult to further our mission and reach our donation goals on our own. That is why we depend on the generous and compassionate support of philanthropic organizations and individuals like you. A donation of any amount will make a difference. Grace Elderly Care International consolidates these funds and channels them to local partner organizations to give hope to thousands of elderly people not enrolled in any similar aid program. Our partner organizations enhance our efficiency because they can easily reach out to our target population and address their immediate needs. Would you love to help the elderly live healthier and happier lives? Visit Elderly Sponsorship to learn more about our Elderly Sponsorship program and get involved in our donation efforts.
