WHO WE ARE
Grace Elderly Care International (GECI) is a 100% volunteer-led nonprofit combating elderly malnutrition in Ethiopia. Since 2021, we’ve provided monthly cash allowances, housing repairs, and community support to 100+ of Ethiopia’s most vulnerable seniors.
THE CRISIS WE’RE SOLVING
In Ethiopia, thousands of elderly individuals face life-threatening malnutrition. Many are homeless, live in uninhabitable conditions,
or survive by begging door-to-door. Without family support or government assistance, they represent one of the country’s most
forgotten populations.
These are grandparents who built Ethiopia through decades of hard work. They deserve dignity in their final years.

HOW WE HELP
GECI serves Ethiopia’s most vulnerable elders through four integrated programs:
MONTHLY CASH ALLOWANCES
Direct financial support enabling elders to purchase nutritious food— $20 provides a full month of meals while preserving dignity
and autonomy.
HOME REPAIRS
Partner with local volunteers to repair uninhabitable homes, creating safe and dignified living conditions for vulnerable seniors.
TEMPORARY SHELTER
Provide emergency housing for homeless elders.
VOLUNTEER MOBILIZATION
Organize and support local Ethiopian volunteers who provide ongoing assistance, companionship, and community connection.
